Description of Non-Conformity

Through an internal review, TE Connectivity (TE) has identified that certain upstream raw material additives, processing agents, and fungicides used within the supply chain contain components with China as the Country of Origin (COO). These materials were used in select products qualified to aerospace specifications. As a result, affected products do not meet U.S. Department of Defense regulatory expectations for these product lines.

Risk Assessment

TE recommends that you conduct a risk assessment to determine what impact, if any, this notice has on your end applications. However, this issue is limited to Country of Origin (COO) compliance and does not impact functional performance. All affected products continue to meet the full performance requirements of the AS23053 and AS85049 specifications.
